Step 2: Offer That Skill to People Online

Now here’s the part nobody teaches in school.
Once I had a skill, I needed to tell the world.

So I went to websites like:

• Facebook groups

I made a simple profile. I didn’t lie. I said I was new but excited to work hard and learn fast.

And you know what? That honesty helped me get my first job. Someone gave me a chance. I did the work. They loved it. They told others.

Step 3: Repeat What Works (and Don’t Quit!)

After I did my first job, I didn’t stop. I did another. And another. Some days were slow. Some days were busy. But I kept showing up.

I learned to do better work. I started charging a bit more.
